Twelve years ago, she journeyed from afar,
From Wyvernwood, to find a home, along the sea and stars.
She saw the rise of newborn stars, and knew she'd found a home.

Welcome to the Home Page for the Shire of Starhaven, the Brevard County chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism, a place where new stars are often seen rising unto the heavens themselves, inspiring those fortunate enough to witness the events!
Starhaven was founded in 1978 after Muireann Deora-de of Rivercroft traveled from the far west coast of the land that would one day be known as the Kingdom of Trimaris to the east coast and found a place to call home. Starhaven runs seventy-eight miles north to south and is fifteen miles at its widest east to west, and is the home of a collection of folk with widely varying interests.
The Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc, is an international organization dedicated to researching and re-creating the arts and skills of pre-17th-century Europe.
