·        1 point will be awarded to each fighter who provides a Letter-of-Intent to fight in the tournament AND a billet upon which is placed the arms under which the fighter will be fighting  Note: the billet must be completed prior to the event, billets created at site with the supplies made available will exclude the fighter from the point. Billets will still be required for the lyste tree.

Billet Rules

1.       The device used for display between rounds should be constructed of a rigid material and be approximately 8 inches wide by 12 inches tall.

2.       The device should bear the Arms of the fighter, or of their consort.  In the event the fighter does not have a device passed by the College of Heralds, the fighter may present an “un-passed” device as long as it is not known to belong to another person and does not conflict with another fighter entered in the tournament

3.        Fighters should remember that these devices represent them, and no small  pride should be taken in the construction and display of said devices

·        1 point will be awarded to the fighter who best demonstrates the chivalric ideal on the field. The members of the Order of Chivalry present will be asked to select the recipient of this point. If there are no members of the Order of Chivalry, if the Order of Chivalry feel no contender has demonstrated exemplary performance or (hopefully) are unable to select one candidate due to multiple contenders setting outstanding examples of the Chivalric ideals, it is removed from eligibility and not used to calculate the winner of the Pas d'Arms.

Selection of the Champion of Starhaven:

·        The fighter with the most accumulated points will be declared the Champion of Starhaven.

·        In the event of a tie, the fighter who WON the most rounds of combat will be declared Champion. If this is unable to break the tie, the fighter with the most fighting points will be declared Champion. If there is still a tie, the fighters will face each other in a double elimination round (best 2 / 3), with sword and shield, to determine the winner.
