Starhaven Champion of the Arts

Eligibility: To enter the Stahaven Champion of the Arts Competition the entrant must conform to the following requirements:

1. A resident in the Shire of Starhaven
2. Must NOT be a member of the Order of the Laurel
3. Must not be the current Champion of the Arts
4. All entries must be accompanied by the appropriate forms/documentation for the desired category

Format: The Starhaven Champion of the Arts Competition will a Populace Choice format, with each person being given a token with which to vote on their favorite entry.

• Entries should be in place and ready for display no later than 10:00 am
• Entries must remain on display as long as the voting/selection process is occurring (until approximately 4:00 pm)
• If an entry is removed from display, voting on that entry ends. The tokens placed on that entry will be collected and it will not be eligible for additional voting (exceptions can be made for critical situations, please contact a contest supervisor BEFORE removing the entry)
• Each token is valued at one point.
• Each member of the Order of the Laurel will be granted a second token to bestow on an entry they feel has particular merit
• In the event of a tie, the members of the Order of the Laurel present will be asked to cast the deciding vote. If there are no Laurels present, or they are unable to reach a decision, the Seneschal will cast the deciding vote
